Within about five business days. I read every message myself, nothing sits in a queue waiting on someone else to triage it.

Q: Who reads the messages I send?

Me, directly. There's no support team filtering things first, whatever you send lands with the person who'd actually be doing the work or filling the role.

Q: What should I include in my message?

Whatever's relevant, a role you're hiring for, a project you want to talk through, or a question about something on the site. I'd rather have context upfront than a vague "let's connect."

Q: Can I reach out even if I'm not sure it's the right fit?

Yes. I'm open to conversations across product, data, and policy work, and I'd rather hear about something that's a maybe than have you sit on it.

Yes. If you send something, you'll hear back, even if the answer is that it's not a fit right now.

Why Reach Out?

I'm building across product, data, and policy, and I'm always interested in conversations that connect to any of it. Maybe you're hiring for something technical or governance-focused. Maybe you've got a project idea and want a second opinion. Maybe you just read something on this site and had a question. Any of those is a good reason to send a message.

I built this site to be more than a static list of jobs and degrees, and that includes how I respond to people who reach out. Whether you're evaluating me for a role, exploring a collaboration, or just curious about one of the projects, you get a real reply from me, not a form that disappears into a queue.
